Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)

Complete support for maintenance, repair and overhaul

DAHER offers a full portfolio of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for all aircraft, trainers, helicopters and other platforms, which build on its proven track record with programs for the French military services.

Distinguishing DAHER’s offer is the company’s competence as an aircraft prime contractor, supported by the capabilities of an in-house own design, engineering and technical offices; the value-added resources of an active flight test department; manufacturing capacity for aerostructures and airframe components; full document archiving; and software tools for continuous airworthiness monitoring.

The company’s solutions range from simple treatment of corrosion to extensive repairs for fuselage damage.

DAHER Airplane Business Unit is certified to both FAA FAR 145 (certification XSO4 114Y) and EASA PART 145 (certification #FR.145.081) standards for major maintenance and repair. Since July 2013, DAHER has been operating with FRA 145 (FRA 145 0015) certification for military MRO.

The flexible business strategy of DAHER enables the company to offer solutions that range from undertaking full responsibility in managing a program to serving as a subcontractor – working side-by-side with a customer’s designated prime contractor or MRO operation.  One example is the partnership with Cassidian Air Training Services – an operator of French Air Force pilot schools, for which DAHER provides maintenance, logistics, airworthiness management and engineering support for fleets that range from single-engine piston trainers to twin-turboprop transport-category aircraft.

Overall, DAHER assures maintenance for more than 150 governmental aircraft at 12 different air bases. This represents 55,000 hours activity per year, with most of these contracts based on power by the hour agreements.
